We have an update!!!

Look at this cuteness!  

This is Elijah.  

This picture was taken February 17th.  He is almost 16 months old. 

His health is great, he is running and walking 

"like a happy little bird".

He has 12 teeth and weighs about 23 pounds.

Question:  Is that weight with or without all those clothes?!?

I cannot wait to *smooch* those cheeks!!!

Our Dossier was hand delivered to the CCCWA 

(China Center for Children’s Welfare and Adoption) 

 On Monday, February 20th.  

Time to wait for our official LID (Log In Date)!!

OUR DOSSIER IS ON ITS WAY TO CHINA!!!

I opened my email this morning and the first email was from the adoption agency with the title: "Congratulations - Dossier to China!"

Just a *little* excited today!!

Well, I have an update, and it's a biggie!  

We received our I-800 approval on Thursday!

What does that mean?

It means that the US Federal government has approved us to adopt two children internationally....

It also means that all of the paper chasing we have been doing to send to China has finally come to an end. 

The pile of important documents that have been sent to the Secretary of State and also to the Chinese Consulate are awaiting their final friend... and then it is off to China!

EXCITED!!!
